Odisha: President Droupadi Murmu to offer prayers at Kichakeshwari temple on Feb 29

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Odisha on February 29.

The President will visit Khiching in her home district Mayurbhanj during her Odisha tour on February 29, sources said.

She is scheduled to offer prayers at Kichakeshwari temple at Khiching. The President will reach the shrine at 10.10 am on February 29 and offer prayers before the presiding deity. She is scheduled to spend 30 minutes at the shrine, sources added.

Notably, the authorities of Kichakeshwari temple had invited the President to visit the shrine on December 28 last year.

The Mayurbhanj district administration and the temple authorities, meanwhile, have started preparation for the presidential visit, sources said.
