The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications from candidates for the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) examinations for the year 2015.

The examinations would be held for filling up of 670 vacant OAS posts for which the candidates will have to apply online through the OPSC website www.opsconline.gov.in between July 10 and August 10, the Commission said in a recent notification.

The examination would be held for two categories.

The category-I examination would be held for 69 posts of OAS Junior Branch and 24 posts of Odisha Police Service (OPS) Junior Branch.

The category-II examination would be held for nine Odisha Cooperative Service (OCS) posts, 400 Odisha Revenue Service (ORS) posts and 168 Odisha Taxation and Account Service (OTAS) posts.

Out of a total of 670 posts, 341 posts are unreserved while 107 posts are reserved for SC, 149 for ST and 73 posts for the Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC).
