Odisha: Puri Jagannath temple gets new Chief Administrator

Bhubaneswar: Vir Vikram Yadav, 1996-Batch IAS officer, was appointed today as Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in Odisha's Puri, in addition to his present duties.

However, the new Chief Administrator’s appointment shall have effect from the date when he actually would take over charge, a notification issued in this regard by the Law Department mentioned.

New Chief Administrator Yadav replaced Ranjan Kumar Das, a 2007-Batch IAS officer. Das had taken over the charge in May last year in addition to his previous appointment as the Special Secretary of Odia Language, Literature, and Culture Department.
