Odisha records highest single-day recovery of 3,343 COVID-19 patients

Bhubaneswar: Odisha today registered the highest ever recoveries of COVID-19 patients in a day. As per the data provided by the Health and Family Welfare department, a record 3,343 COVID-19 patients recuperated from the disease in last 24 hours.

With this, the recovery count in the State now stands at 62,813.

The maximum number of recovered cases of 732 was reported from Khordha district. A total of 261 from Sundargarh, 245 from Bhadrak, 238 from Ganjam, 217 from Rayagada, 181 from Cuttack, 155 from Balasore, 127 from Sambalpur, 121 from Puri, 119 from Koraput and 112 from Mayurbhanj district recovered today.

As many as 103 from Sonepur, 84 from Boudh, 78 from Bargarh, 68 from Kandhamal, 65 from Balangir, 60 from Nayagarh, 56 from Kalahandi, 54 from Malkangiri and 49 from Dhenkanal district recuperated from the disease.

Similarly, 36 from Nabarangpur, 34 from Keonjhar, 32 from Jajpur, 27 from Gajapati, 22 from Angul, 20 from Jharsuguda, 19 from Kendrapara, 16 from Jagatsinghpur, 11 from Nuapada and one from Deogarh recovered from the virus infection.
