Odisha: Regular ‘Mo Bus’ service to remain suspended during lockdown period

Bhubaneswar: The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), which operates ‘Mo Bus’ service in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri cities of the State, today announced regular city bus service will remain suspended from May 5, 2021 to May 19, 2021. The move came after the Odisha government announced a state-wide lockdown from May 5-19, 2021 to prevent the spread of deadly Covid-19 virus.

The CRUT, however, stated in order to facilitate the movement of incoming passengers, ‘Mo Bus’ service will be provided for Cuttack and Khordha from railway station.

Similarly, shuttle service will be available from the Biju Patnaik International Airport to railway station.

The CRUT added no standing of passengers will be allowed in the restricted number of city buses during the lockdown period. Besides, mask has been made mandatory for the passengers.
