Odisha reports 1 more COVID-19 death; tally mounts to 18

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported one more COVID-19 death today after a patient from Ganjam district died of the virus. The deceased was a 68-year-old male of Ganjam district, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.

"Regret to inform the death of a 68-year-old COVID positive male of Ganjam district. He was also suffering from the comorbid conditions of hypertension and diabetes," said the department.

With this, the number of deaths due to coronavirus in Ganjam district rose to 9 and 18 in the entire state. Besides, seven COVID-19 patients have died of other health complications in the state so far.
