Bhubaneswar: Another 1219 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,02,793.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 708 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 511 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Sundargarh and Balasore districts recorded highest 107 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (106) and Khordha (92) districts respectively.
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 13,131 and recovered cases at 2,88,168.
