Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 1337 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the tally surged to 39,018 , informed the Government.
While 815 cases have been reported from different quarantine centres, remaining 522 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said the Health and Family Welfare Department.
The fresh cases have been reported from 28 districts- highest from Ganjam (201) followed by Khordha (196) and Cuttack (168), Angul (4), Balasore (31), Bargarh (14), Bhadrak (22), Balangir (11), Boudh (1) Dhenkanal (5), Gajapati (75), Ganjam (201), Jagatsinghpur (21), Jajpur (24), Jharsuguda (10), Kalahandi (13), Kandhamal (20), Kendrapada (37), Keonjhar (80), Koraput (31), Malkangiri (38), Mayurbhanj (15), Nabarangpur (7), Nayagarh (60), Puri (73), Rayagada (22), Sambalpur (72), Sonepur (3) and Sundargarh (83)
In the last 24 hours, 14,915 swab samples were tested. So far 5,85505 tests have been conducted in the state.
