Odisha reports 1342 new COVID-19 cases with 2.02% TPR; 68 more die

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1342 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 66146 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 2.02%.

Khurda district reported highest 477 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (164) and Jagatsinghpur (78).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 983523 with 13516 active cases.

The Health Department also reported 68 more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll mounted to 6236. Khurda district recorded highest 13 fatalities.
