Odisha reports 1,503 fresh COVID cases; 21 more succumb to virus
Bhubaneswar: With detection of 1,503 fresh COVID-19 cases during the last 24 hours, Odisha’s total caseload today further surged to 12,69,811, including active cases 19,386. The new infectees include 329 in the age group of 0-18 years.
Of the fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 873 are quarantine cases and 630 local contacts.
Khordha district recorded highest 333 fresh infections, followed by Sundargarh (157) and Mayurbhanj (108).
Meanwhile, the state reported 21 COVID deaths, following which the toll mounted to 8,775.
