Odisha reports 1,572 fresh COVID cases; check district-wise figures

Bhubaneswar: With detection of 1,572 fresh COVID cases in the last 24 hours, the state's total caseload today further surged to 12,74,575,  including 14,253 active case.

The new infectees include 309 in the age group of 0-18 years.

Yesterday, the state had reported 1,480 single-day infections.

Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts,  918 are quarantine cases and 654 local contacts.

Khordha district registered highest 233 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (161) and Sundargarh (113).
