Bhubaneswar: As many as 1793 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours. With this, the State’s total caseload rose to 2,77,887.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 1031 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 762 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Khordha recorded highest 208 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (160) and Angul (107).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 19,579 and recovered cases at 2,57,041.
