Odisha reports 2282 new COVID cases with 2.90% TPR; 65 more die

Bhubaneswar: As many as 2282 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 78466 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 2.90%.

Khurda district reported highest 592 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (289) and Balasore (146).

With this, the COVID-19 tally reached 939752 with 25461 active cases.

The state also reported 65 more COVID-19 deaths as the toll mounted to 4599. Khurda district registered highest 14 deaths.
