Odisha reports 234 new COVID-19 positive cases

Bhubaneswar: Another 234 persons in Odisha tested positive for deadly Coronavirus in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total count to 3,28,738.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 24 districts, 136 have been reported from different quarantine centres and remaining 98 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.

Angul district recorded highest 36 cases followed by Sundargarh district (28) and Khordha district (25).

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 2,753 and recovered cases at 3,24,068.
