Bhubaneswar: Another 749 people in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,09,408.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 29 districts, 437 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 312 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Khordha recorded highest 88 fresh cases followed by Mayurbhanj (78) and Sundargarh (55).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 9,950. Besides, 2,97,862 persons have so far recovered from the disease so far.
