Odisha reports highest single-day recovery of COVID-19 patients

Bhubaneswar: Odisha today reported the highest single-day recovery of 1119 COVID-19 patients in last 24 hours. With this the recovery count in the State mounted to 23,073.

Official sources said the new recovered cases are being discharged.

The maximum of 354 patients from Ganjam district recovered followed by 97 from Khordha, 83 from Gajapati and 70 from Jajpur district.

While 57 from Keonjhar, 50 from Cuttack, 40 from Boudh, 37 from Nayagarh, 35 from Rayagada recuperated from the disease, 31 from Puri, a total of 30 from Balasore, 29 from Mayurbhanj, 28 from Bhadrak, 27 from Jagatsinghpur, 24 from Dhenkanal, 22 from Sundergarh, 17 from Kandhamal and 16 each from Balangir and Sambalpur districts recovered from the virus infection.

As many as 15 from Malkangiri, 12 from Nabarangpur, 11 from Kendrapara, five each from Angul and Koraput, four from Bargarh, three from Sonepur and one from Jharsuguda district recuperated today.
