Puri: The follower base of Odisha-born eminent sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has crossed one lakh on micro-blogging site Twitter.

The famed artist, who had joined Twitter in Feb, 2010 surpassed the incredible numbers yesterday for which he carved a sand art to express his gratitude towards his fans.

“Thanks to all my Twitter followers. #100000. I am grateful to each one of you,” Sudarsan Pattnaik tweeted.

By the time of writing this report, Pattnaik had 1, 01, 071 followers on Twitter.
