Bhubaneswar: Health condition of Sudarsan Pattnaik, internationally acclaimed sand artist of Odisha who was yesterday admitted to a private hospital here, has improved.

Odisha Health Minister Pratap Jena today visited the hospital and enquired about his health.

Pattnaik has also tweeted about his recuperation.

"Good morning, now I am feeling better. Thanks to all my well wishers for their continuous support & concerns," he tweeted.

Notably, the ace sand sculptor had staged a sit-in along with his students at the Bankimuhana sea beach in Puri demanding its cleaning and protesting pollution at the beach.

However, his condition deteriorated yesterday following which he was hospitalised.
