Odisha sand artist’s sculpture on Mother’s Day

Renowned sand artist Manas Sahoo has carved a sand sculpture on Odisha’s Puri beach on the eve of Mother’s Day.

The artist dedicated his sculpture to honour mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers for their contribution to family and society.

It took five hours to build the 12-feet sand sculpture where 20 tons of sand was used, Sahoo said.
