Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has appointed 2009-batch IFS officer Sanjaya Kumar Swain as the Regional Chief Conservator of Forests (in-charge) for Berhampur Circle in the state.
Swain has also been given the additional charge of Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC) General Manager (GM) for Berhampur, said a notification issued by the Forest, Environment and Climate Change department.
Swain was earlier working as the Conservator of Forests at the office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) in Odisha.
In a related development, the state government has allowed Conservator of Forests and RCCF (in-charge), Sambalpur Circle, T Ashok Kumar (2008-batch IFS officer) to hold the additional charge of OFDC General Manager (GM) for Sambalpur.
Similarly, 2008-batch IFS officer Harsha Bardhan Udgata, who is now working as the Conservator of Forests in Bolangir Circle, has been allowed to hold the additional charge of OFDC General Manager (GM) for Bolangir.
As per the notification, 2009-batch IFS officer Sanjeet Kumar, who is now posted as the Conservator of Forests and RCCF (in-charge) in Bhubaneswar Circle, has been given permission to hold the additional charge of OFDC General Manager (GM) for Bhubaneswar.
