Odisha: Schedule for e-Admission into UG Courses in Degree Colleges announced; details here

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Higher Education department today announced the schedule for e-Admission into UG Courses under Student Academic Management System (SAMS) for Academic Session 2023-24.

“Timeline for e-Admission in all (+3) Degree Colleges including Self Financing (Degree) Colleges/ Sanskrit (Shastri) of the State under SAMS is given below. Any changes in the timeline will be published in the newspapers as well as in the Website: www.samsodisha.gov.in .Kindly refer the Common Prospectus (CP) before filling up Common Application Form (CAF),” a notification issued in this regard said.

As per the e-Admission schedule, availability of online Common Application Form (CAF) on the Website: www.samsodisha.gov.in is 19 June 2023 (2.00 PM) and the last date for applying online CAF through www.samsodisha.gov.in is 4 July 2023 (11.45 PM).

Other important dates to be noted are as follows:

– Validation and correction of Common Application Form (CAF) at SAMS Resource Centers (SRCs) is from 21 June 2023 (11.00 AM) to 7 July 2023 (7.00 PM) (Except Holidays).

– Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats (for First Round Selection) is 14 July 2023 (2.00 PM).

– Selection of Slide /Freeze/ Float Option and Online Payment of Admission Fee by the selected students through SAMS [Student’s Account] portal is from 14 July 2023 (7.00 PM) to 18 July 2023 (11.45 PM).

– Reporting of the Applicants at allotted Institutions for taking admission (for First Round Selection) is 15 July 2023 (9.00 AM) and 17 July 2023 (9.00 AM) to 19 July 2023 (till 5.00 PM).

– Data updation of admitted students in the e-space by the respective Institutions (for First Round Admission) is 15 July 2023 (9.00 AM) and 17 July 2023 (9.00 AM) to 19 July 2023 (till 7.00 PM).

– Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats (for Second Round Selection) is 27 July 2023 (2.00 PM).

– Selection of Slide/ Freeze/ Float Option and Online Payment of Admission Fees by the selected students through SAMS [Student’s Account] portal is from 27 July 2023 (7.00 PM) to 1 August 2023 (11.45 PM).

– Reporting of Applicants at allotted Institutions for taking admission (for Second Round Selection) is 29 July 2023 (9.00 AM) and 31 July 2023 (9.00 AM) to 2 August 2023 (till 5.00 PM).

– Data updation of admitted students in the e-space by the respective Institutions (for Second Round Admission) is 29 July 2023 (9.00 AM) and 31 July 2023 (9.00 AM) to 2 August 2023 (till 7.00 PM).

– Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats (for Third Round Selection) is 9 August 2023 (2.00 PM).

– Selection of Slide/ Freeze/ Float Option and Online Payment of Admission Fees by the selected students through SAMS [Student’s Account] portal is from 9 August 2023 (7.00 PM) to 13 August 2023 (11.45 PM).

– Reporting of Applicants at allotted Institutions for taking admission (for Third Round Selection) is 10 August 2023 (9.00 AM) to 12 August 2023 (5.00 PM) and 14 August 2023 (till 5.00 PM).

– Data updation of admitted students in the e-space by the respective Institutions (for Third Round Admission) is 10 August 2023 (9.00 AM) to 12 August 2023 (5.00 PM) and 14 August 2023 (till 7.00 PM).

– Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats (for Fourth Round Selection) is 21 August 2023 (2.00 PM).

– Selection of Slide/ Freeze/ Float Option and Online Payment of Admission Fees by the selected students through SAMS [Student’s Account] portal is from 21 August 2023 (7.00 PM) to 24 August 2023 (11.45 PM).

– Reporting of Applicants at allotted Institutions for taking admission (for Fourth Round Selection) is 22 August 2023 (9.00 AM) to 25 August 2023 (5.00 PM).

– Data updation of admitted students in the e-space by the respective Institutions (for Fourth Round Admission) is 22 August 2023 (9.00 AM) to 25 August 2023 (7.00 PM).

– Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats (for Fifth Round Selection) is 1 September 2023 (2.00 PM).

– Selection of Slide/ Freeze/ Float Option and Online Payment of Admission Fees by the selected students through SAMS [Student’s Account] portal is from 1 September 2023 (7.00 PM) to 4 September 2023 (11.45 PM).

– Reporting of Applicants at allotted Institutions for taking admission (for Fifth Round Selection) is 2 September 2023 (9.00 AM) and 4 September 2023 (9.00 AM) to 5 September 2023 (5.00 PM).

– Data updation of admitted students in the e-space by the respective Institutions (for Fifth Round Admission) is 2 September 2023 (9.00 AM) to 5 September 2023 (7.00 PM).

– Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats (for Sixth Round Selection) is 13 September 2023 (2.00 PM).

Online Payment of Admission Fees by the selected students through SAMS [Student’s Account] portal is from 13 September 2023 (7.00 PM) to 16 September 2023 (11.45 PM).

– Reporting of Applicants at allotted Institutions for taking admission (for Sixth Round Selection) is 14 September 2023 (9.00 PM) to 16 September 2023 (5.00 PM) and 18 September 2023 (till 5.00 PM).

– Data updation of admitted students in the e-space by the respective Institutions (for Sixth Round Admission) is 14 September 2023 (9.00 PM) to 18 September 2023 (7.00 PM).

Notably, if any difficulties arise while filling up the CAF or choosing the slide, freeze, or float option, the Applicants are advised to contact their nearest SAMS Resource Centers (SRCs).

The BA (Law) Stream of National Law University (NLU), Cuttack and 4-Year BA BEd /BSc BEd in 3 Nos of HEIs have been included in the SAMS e-Admission process for the Academic Session 2023-24.
