Odisha schoolboy collapses during prayer session, dies

Rayagada: A Class VI student of Sacred Heart School died during morning prayer session in Raniguda area of Odisha’s Rayagada district, here today.

The deceased has been identified as Subhranshu Nayak, elder son of Mangaldaan Nayak.

According to reports, Subhranshu was attending the morning prayer session in his classroom at around 7:30 am when he suddenly collapsed.

He began shivering and his mouth began foaming. School authorities rushed him to Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital, however the doctor pronounced him dead.

Rayagada police have registered a case of unnatural death in this regard.
