Odisha sees 11,108 new COVID-19 cases; Khordha highest at 1,451

Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered 11,108 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours with Khordha district continued to stand in top place in the single-day spike.

Of fresh infections reported from all 30 districts, 6219 are quarantine cases and 4889 are the local contacts.

While the highest of 1,451 cases were detected from Khordha district followed by 944 in Cuttack district and 864 in Angul district, the single-day cases slightly declined in COVID-affected Sundargarh district with 708.

With this, the COVID tally increased to 6,79,530 with 1,09,639 active cases.
