Bhubaneswar: Odisha continued to registered a huge spike in its single-day COVID-19 tally as 3,679 more persons in the state tested positive for the virus in last 24 hours. The fresh infectees include 384 in 0-18 years age group.

Out of the fresh cases, 2148 were quarantine cases and 1531 local contacts.

Khordha district registered highest 1,223 fresh infections, followed by Sundargarh (582) and Sambalpur (372).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state surged to 10,66,155, including 11,663 active cases.
