Odisha sees major spike in COVID-19 cases; 4 districts report over 20 cases
Bhubaneswar: Odisha today witnessed a major spike of COVID-19 cases with 170 persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. Following this, the state’s total caseload surged to 3,39,246.
Of the total fresh cases, 99 are quarantine cases and 71 local contact cases.
Four districts have reported over 20 fresh cases with Nuapada registering highest 27 cases followed by Cuttack and Khordha with 23 each and Sundargarh (22).
Currently, the number of active cases stands at 1008 while 3,36,266 have recovered from the disease so far.
