Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed a slight increase in the single-day COVID-19 tally with 615 persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. With this, the state's total caseload today further surged to 10,33,288.
The new infectees include 68 in the age group of 0-18 years. As 62,675 samples were tested yesterday, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) stood at 0.98 % for the day .
Of the fresh cases detected from 22 districts, 357 are quarantine cases and 258 local contacts. Hotspot Khordha district recorded 323 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (72) and Mayurbhanj (28).
The number of active cases now stands at 5203.
