Odisha sees spike of 157 fresh COVID-19 cases
Bhubaneswar: With detection of 157 fresh cases, Odisha’s COVID-19 tally today further surged to 3,33,723.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 24 districts, 93 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 64 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Sundargarh recorded highest 30 fresh cases followed by Puri (20) and Sambalpur (18).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 1,717 and recovered cases at 3,30,051.
