Bhubaneswar: A spike of 642 COVID-19 infections have been detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours. With this, the state's total caseload surged to 3,13,323.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 374 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 268 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Keonjhar recorded highest 70 fresh cases followed by Nuapada (69) and Sundargarh (66).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 6,821 and recovered cases at 3,06,726.
