Odisha: Several trains cancelled over poor patronisation; Details here

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the surge of COVID-19 positive cases and poor patronisation, it has been decided to cancel five pairs of local passenger/MEMU trains up to 10th June, 2021 from both the directions.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF TRAINS

A. 08428/08427 Puri-Angul-Puri Special from 1st to 4th and from 7th to 10th June, 2021 will run between Puri and Talcher and will remain cancelled between Talcher and Angul from both the directions.

B. 08301/08302 Sambalpur-Rayagada-Sambalpur Special from 1st to 4th and from 7th to 10th June, 2021 will run between Sambalpur and Titilagarh and will remain cancelled between Titilagarh and Rayagada from both the directions.

C. 02097/02098 Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road-Bhubaneswar Special from Bhubaneswar from 1st to 10th and from Junagarh Road from 2nd to 11th June, 2021 will run between Bhubaneswar and Rayagada and will remain cancelled between Rayagada and Junagarh Road from both the directions.

RAJDHANI SPECIAL TRAINS TO RUN TWICE A WEEK:

● 02823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express Special via Tata will run on Tuesdays from Bhubaneswar up to 10th June, 2021. Remaining days of this train will remain cancelled w.e.f. 3rd June, 2021.

02824 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express Special via Tata will run on Wednesdays from New Delhi during the period. Remaining days of this train will remain cancelled up to 10th June, 2021.

● 02825/02826 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express Special via Adra from Bhubaneswar will run on Sundays and from New Delhi will run on Mondays during the period. This train will remain cancelled on 2nd & 9th June from Bhubaneswar and on 4th & 11th June, 2021 from New Delhi.

● 02855/02856 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express Special via Sambalpur City & Rourkela will remain cancelled on 5th June, 2021 from Bhubaneswar and on 6th June, 2021 from New Delhi.

 

PRS COUNTERS TO REMAIN OPEN TILL 2000 HRS

In view of preventive measures for Covid19, it has been decided to open Passenger Reservation System (PRS) Counters till 2000 hrs (08.00p.m.) only till the lockdown is in force.
