Odisha: Sex racket busted in hotel, 2 arrested

Ganjam: A sex racket running in a sophisticated hotel was busted today in Odisha’s Ganjam district.

The police has arrested two persons, including the hotel owner.

A woman was rescued by the cops from the spot, who was allegedly involved in the flesh trade in the hotel. She was later sent to a government shelter home.

As per the available information, the sex racket was going on at a hotel under Polasara police limits in the district for the last few months.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a room in the hotel and arrested the two men. The hotel owner has been identified as Laxmi Narayan Panigrahi.

Later, both the men have been forwarded to court.

Earlier in July, a sex racket was busted at Hatibandha Sahi under Baidyanathpur police limits in the Silk City. Police had arrested three men and rescued two women from the spot.
