Odisha: Sexual harassment slur on Bolangir Civil Supplies Officer

Bolangir: A woman employee has levelled sexual harassment allegations against Bolangir Civil Supplies Officer Mir Raja Ali.

The woman employee has lodged a complaint in this regard with the district collector, sources said.

In her complaint, the woman employee alleged that the Civil Supplies Officer has been misbehaving with her and harassing her sexually since he assumed office in Bolangir.

The woman employee reportedly threatened to lodge an FIR with police if the district collector does not take any action against the Civil Supplies Officer.

The district collector reportedly quizzed the Civil Supplies Officer in connection with the allegations. “We are conducting a probe into the issue. Appropriate action will be taken if the allegations are found to be true,” said collector Chanchal Rana.
