Odisha shivers as cold wave continues; 6 places record below 10 degree C

Bhubaneswar: Cold wave continues to sweep most parts of the State with six places recording temperature below 6 degree today.

As per weathermen, Phulbani in Kandhamal district is shivering with lowest temperature of 7.3 degree Celcius recorded today. Similarly, Angul recorded lowest temperature of 8.6 degree Celcius followed by Koraput (9 degree Celcius), Sonepur (9.5 degree celcius), Daringibadi (9.6) and Bhawanipatna (9.8).

However, the lowest temperature of Twin Cities of Bhuaneswar and Cuttack was above 10 degree celcius. While the State Capital recorded lowest temperature of 12.8 degree Celcius, Cuttack recorded 11.8 degree Celcius.
