Odisha: Sudarsan creates sand art wishing speedy recovery of Sourav Ganguly

Puri: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik today sculpted a sand art in Odisha’s Puri beach wishing the speedy recovery of former India skipper and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly, who is undergoing treatment at a Kolkata hospital.

Pattnaik created a 22ft-long cricket bat along with a ball and portrait of Sourav Ganguly. He also wrote a message ‘Get well soon DADA’ on the bat.

“I pray before Lord Jagannath for the speedy recovery of Ganguly,” Pattnaik said.

Earlier this morning, Ganguly suffered a sudden blackout following mild chest pain at his Behala residence this morning. He is currently undergoing treatment at Woodlands Hospital.
