Odisha teachers threaten to boycott valuation of exam papers

Bhubaneswar: Odisha School College Teachers and Employees Joint Forum today threatened to boycott valuation of High School Certificate and Plus Two exam papers.

The Forum decided to boycott valuation of exam papers in protest against the State government’s failure to fulfill their demands.

The Forum decided to continue with their boycott till their demands are fulfilled.

“It’s our duty to trust the Chief Minister and Ministers of Odisha. But they have failed in their commitment and have been deceiving us repeatedly. Under such conditions we are forced to again boycott valuation of both High School Certificate and Plus Two exam papers,” informed Golak Nayak, President of 662-category College Lecturers Association speaking to reporters today.

Notably, High School Certificate Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education was over recently and valuation of exam papers is scheduled to begin from March 20.

Boycott by the Forum will certainly affect valuation resulting in delay in publication of results.
