Odisha: Teenage girl rescued in critical condition

Bhadrak: A teenage girl has been admitted to hospital in a critical condition here today in Odisha’s Bhadrak district.

According to sources, two unidentified youth rescued the young girl from near Kochila river and admitted her to Dhamnagar Community Health Centre (CHC).

The youth, however, reportedly fled the scene after admission formalities were over.

She was shifted to district headquarters hospital here as her condition.

The girl reportedly belongs to a minority community.

Local villagers said that the girl was riding pillion and the two-wheeler met with an accident. The rider lost control over the motorcycle and hit a roadside tree critically injuring the girl. The minor girl succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital.

The girl was allegedly abducted by three youth.
