Odisha: Temp likely to rise by 2-3°C; Rainfall likely in several districts

Bhubaneswar: Day temperature is likely to soar by 2-3 degree Celsius across Odisha during the next 4-5 days, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

“No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) and it is likely to be above normal by 2-3°C at many places over the districts of Odisha during next 4-5 days,” the Meteorological Centre said in its bulletin, last evening.

It also predicted light to moderate rainfall for several districts of Odisha.

* Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur and Bargarh (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 07.03.2023 up to 0830 hrsIST of 08.03.2023).

* Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Angul, Sonepur and Boudh (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 08.03.2023 up to 0830 hrs IST of 09.03.2023).

* Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Bargarh (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 09.03.2023 up to 0830 hrs IST of 10.03.2023).
