Odisha: Three trains extended to major stations. Here’s list

Bhubaneswar: In view of rise in train passengers, the railway authorities have extended three trains including an express train from and to major stations in Odisha today.

Here’s the list of extension of trains:

Now, passengers can buy Maniabandha handloom products at Odisha’s Cuttack station

1 – 68433/68434 Cuttack-Brahmapur-Cuttack MEMU was extended up to Ichhapuram Railway Station from March 3. With extension of the train, it will run as Cuttack-Ichhapuram-Cuttack MEMU and will have stoppage at Golanthara and Surla between Brahmapur & Ichhapuram. The train will leave Berhampur at 9.15 pm to Ichhapuram and will reach at 10.00 pm. In the return direction, the train will leave Ichhapuram at 6.45 am toward Berhampur and Cuttack. The timings and stoppages for the train between Cuttack and Berhampur will remain unchanged.

2 – The railway authorities extended train number 58526/58525 Visakhapatnam-Palasa-Visakhapatnam Passenger up to Brahmapur Railway Station from today. After extension, this train will run as Visakhapatnam-Brahmapur-Visakhapatnam Passenger and will have stoppage at Sumadevi, Mandasa Road, Baruva, Sompeta, Jhadupudi, Ichhapuram, Surla Road and Golanthara between Palasa & Brahmapur stations. The train will leave Palasa at 5.20 pm towards Brahmapur and will reach at Brahmapur at 7.00 pm. The train will leave Brahmapur at 7.00 am towards Palasa & Visakhapatnam. The timings and stoppages for this train between Visakhapatnam & Palasa will remain unchanged.

3 – The train number 18107/18108 Rourkela-Koraput-Rourkela Express was extended up to Jagadalpur Railway Station from today. After extension, this train will run as Rourkela-Jagadalpur-Rourkela Express and will provide stoppage at Jeypore and Kotpar Road between Koraput and Jagadalpur. The train will leave Koraput at 08.25 am towards Jagadalpur and will reach at Jagadalpur at 11.30 am. In the return direction, the train will leave Jagadalpur at 1.00 pm towards Koraput and Rourkela. The timings and stoppages for this train between Rourkela and Koraput from both the directions will remain unchanged.

Besides, two trains have also additional stoppage at Naraj Marthapur railway station.

18507/18508 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express from Visakhapatnam on March 1 and from Amritsar on Feb 27 will have stoppage at Naraj Marthapur. The train from Visakhapatnam will arrive at Naraj Marthapur at 7.31 am and will leave at 7.32 am towards Amritsar. In the return direction, the train from Amritsar will arrive at Naraj Marthapur Station at 3.13 pm and will leave at 3.14 pm towards Visakhapatnam.

Similarly, 18421/18422 Puri-Ajmer-Puri Express from Puri on Feb 28 and from Ajmer on Feb 26 had stoppage at Naraj Marthapur. The train from Puri arrived at Naraj Marthapur at 12.40 am and departed at 12.41 am towards Ajmer. In the return direction, the train from Ajmer arrived at Naraj Marthapur Station at 4.01 pm and left at 4.02 pm towards Puri.
