Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will release a notification for admission of students to Plus II courses for this year within two days. This was informed by School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today.
Dash further said in order to improve quality of school education and increase the pass rate, the State government will provide two-hour online training to teachers for five days from August 4. As per the decision, two teachers each from 101 ‘Utkarsh’ schools will attend the online training programme. Besides, one teacher each from Plus II colleges in different districts will participate in the online training.
The Minister said he will speak to Headmasters of schools which reported zero result during the HSC examination this year. Worth mentioning, a total of 31 schools in the State registered zero result in the Matric exams.
