Odisha: Two more teachers accused of submitting forged documents resign

Berhampur: Two more teachers working at different schools in Kabisuryanagar block of Ganjam district who had allegedly secured jobs after submitting forged educational certificates today resigned from their posts.

The two teachers, Bishnu Pradhan and Sunanda Sethi sent their resignation letter to Block Education Officer Niranjan Mishra citing health and personal reasons.

On the other hand, the BEO said allegations leveled against the two teachers are being probed.

Worth mentioning, as many as 71 teachers in the district had allegedly submitted forged documents to secure jobs. But, the Education department has initiated action against only seven teachers in Dharakote block and lodged police complaint.

After today’s resignation, a total of 11 teachers have resigned from job citing different reasons.
