Odisha: Two youth crushed to death after paddy-cutting machine falls on them

Balasore: Two youth were crushed to death after a paddy-cutting machine fell on them at Raibania area in Balasore district today.

The deceased youth were identified as Gopal Tudu (21) and Hamir Hansda (22), residents of Khuard village under Raibania police limits in Balasore district.

According to reports, the duo had brought a paddy-cutting machine to use it at their farmland in the morning today. After finishing paddy cutting, while they were loading the equipment on a tractor, suddenly it fell on them.

The two youth sustained critical injuries in the incident. The locals rushed them to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for treatment. However, the duo succumbed to injuries.
