Odisha: University closed after detection of COVID-19 cases

Rayagada: GIET University located at Gunupur in Odisha’s Rayagada district has been closed for 3 days after detection of six COVID-19 cases on the campus.

The varsity will remain closed from April 8 to April 10 as per the direction of the sub-collector, said Registrar of the university.

Students and employees of the university residing outside the campus will not be allowed to enter the premises during the period.

Earlier, Oxford College of Engineering & Management and Silicon Institute of Technology in Bhubaneswar were sealed for violation of COVID-19 guidelines.
