Odisha varsity confirms question paper leak ahead of Plus III exam

Sambalpur: Following raids at different colleges in western Odisha affiliated to the Sambalpur University, authorities of the varsity today confirmed leak of Zoology and Chemistry question papers of Plus III third semester.

Six squads of the varsity raided colleges in Bhawanipatna, Padampur, Bargarh, Sambalpur and Rourkela and inquired the matter.

Sambalpur University Exam Controller Suryanarayan Naik said a police complaint will be filed tomorrow in connection with the question leak. He further said exams will not be cancelled as the University has additional question sets.

Worth mentioning, the university manages exams of 240 colleges. Of them, 100 colleges have Science stream. After getting information about leakage of question of Chemistry paper, the universities authorities held a secret meeting and decided to form special squads.

Earlier in the days, the special squads conducted raids at colleges and submitted a report to the university.
