Odisha Vigilance raids places linked to Factories & Boilers Deputy Director

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials today raided multiple places related to Ramesh Chandra Behera, Deputy Director, Factories & Boilers, Bhubaneswar over allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Sleuths of the anti-corruption agency conducted simultaneous raids at Behera’s residential house located at Vipul Garden, Ghatikia here, his in-laws’ house at Pilgrim Road, Cuttack, his parental house at Pampalo, Korei, Jajpur, a plot at CDA in Cuttack with room, office room located in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, and house located in Pondicherry, sources said.

Till last reports came in, the raids were underway and the total value of the official’s movable and immovable properties was yet to be calculated.
