Bhapur: Theists find God everywhere and in everything. To utter surprise, a constituent of villagers in Odisha are worshipping cannabis plant to appease the ‘deity’.

A nondescript village of Baunsabati panchayat under Bhapur block in Nayagarh district offer variety of colourful flowers to the plant producing banned substance.

The 8-feet tall plant has now become a talking point in the area.

Interestingly, neither the local police nor the Excise department officials are aware of the incident.
