Odisha: VSSUT bars entry of motorised vehicles into campus

Burla: Possession of two-wheelers and four-wheelers was strictly prohibited for boarders from today inside Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Burla of Sambalpur district, a notice issued by VSSUT authorities in this regard mentioned. Hence, the students will ride bicycles alone.

“This is for information of all the boarders those who are in possession of vehicles such as two-wheelers and four-wheelers are advised not to keep the vehicles in the Hall of Residence premises or University campus,” the communiqué put up on the notice board expressed.

Henceforth, none of the boarders will be allowed to possess motorised vehicles. If any boarder found keeping their vehicles shall be seized by the University authority and the vehicle will be towed to City Police through the District Administration.

Notably, wardens of all Hall of Residences were requested by the varsity Vice-Chancellor (VC) to strictly ensure the new regulation.
