Odisha waives hostel fees of ITI students

Bhubaneswar: In a significant decision, the Odisha Government today waived hostel fees of government ITI students of the state for nine months.

The decision was taken as per the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Around 30,000 ITI students of the state will be benefited with the move.

The hostel fees (Rs 125 per month) from April, 2020 to December, 2020 amounting to Rs 1125 per student will be waived as the students were not staying at the hostels during the period due to the COVID-19 situation.
