Odisha: Watch Ratha Jatra live on ECoR mobile app

Bhubaneswar: ECOR Yatra, the mobile app recently launched by the East Coast Railway (ECoR) will live stream Ratha Jatra starting tomorrow.

People can download the app from Google Play Store and watch the world famous festival live through their smartphones.

The mobile app, developed to benefit passengers, especially devotees coming to the pilgrim town to witness the Ratha Jatra, will also provide information regarding different regular and special trains and other facilities to be available by the ECoR during the nine-day festival.

Sources said, the ECoR will run total 186 special trains between July 13 and July 24. The app would provide detail information about the special trains, time table and platform numbers. It will also give information on facilities of tourism, retiring rooms and Mela shed arrangements to be made available through IRCTC, said an official.

People will also get to know about ritual schedule, 40 special additional ticket counters in Puri and other areas, transport facilities in Puri by OSRTC and pre-paid taxi services along with fares, availability of seats in trains, wheelchairs for disabled persons and so on.

People can also book seats, both reserve and unreserved, through this app, said the official.
