Odisha: Water level in Jalaka river rises after rain in Balasore

Balasore: With incessant rains lashing different parts of Balasore district for the past three days, water level in Jalaka river today crossed the danger mark.

According to sources, the danger mark level of Jalaka river is 5.5 metre near Mathani. The water level crossed the danger mark this morning around 9 am and touched 6 metre.

The water level is reportedly rising 0.10 metre every hour leaving people, who are staying alongside the river, panic-stricken.
