Odisha Weather Alert: Thunderstorm likely in these districts today

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm and gusty surface wind today, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

“Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur,” it predicted.

“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati and Ganjam,” it added.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) over the districts of Odisha during the next 4 to 5 days.
