Odisha Weather Alert: Thunderstorm likely to lash these districts today

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm with gusty surface wind may occur in several districts of Odisha today and bring respite from heat wave conditions.

"Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj," the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

"Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh and Deogarh," it added.

Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) over the districts of Odisha during the next 4 to 5 days.
